URban AR
This FULL Day dynamic course blends the Legal Use of Force mindset with the “Worst Case” scenarios situations in an Urban Environment. In the real world, it is very likely you may need to act on threats that are inside your “reactionary gap”, and because of this, the emphasis will be on engaging threats at very close distances with both empty hands and firearms for real-world speed and accuracy necessary for you to survive. You will learn simple, effective hand-to-hand defense techniques that will stop a sudden, violent attack and give you the time and opportunity to access your firearm. Combine this knowledge with our economy of movement techniques and you will be a very prepared Citizen.
Our Secondary Objective for the course is to put a heavy emphasis on moving through an Urban Terrain both alone and with assistance/company. The art of room or building clearing comes with a lot of base fundamentals or rules to live and die by. We will be executing extensive close-quarter enteral and external structural, as well as, vehicle drills on a multitude of terrains.
Our tertiary training goal is to incorporate Tactical Trauma Response Techniques in an active/sustained threat environment or extended/ unknown medical assistance situation. Even in an “average” self-defense situation or traffic accident, medical attention could be delayed due to several factors, so what’s your plan for that? We will practice both self and buddy trauma aid in a tactical environment throughout this course. Be ready to learn, because it's going to be a couple of very intense training days!
